Located at Auburn University, the Dudley Concourse is currently a large unused space. With limited shade and seating, the large area is mainly used as a walkway for students traveling from dorms to classes. Levels of Learning, the proposed redesign, transforms the space into a relaxing garden providing spaces for gathering, socializing and learning. Sandstone flooring will lower the overall temperature of the area during the summer months. Wooden platforms are placed throughout the concourse are varying elevations. These spaces can function as areas for teaching, learning, and gathering.
